*Inuyasha*
Inuyasha is a hanyou(half demon) He is 1/2 dog demon, 1/2 human. Inuyasha is looking for the Shikon no Tama(Shikon jewel/jewel of four souls)to become a full fledged demon. He was in love with Kikyo, a priestess. She and Inuyasha were betrayed and set against each other by Naraku. The end result was Inuyasha shot to a tree by Kikyo's arrow and miko power. She died later though and took the jewel with her. The jewel returns when Kagome happens to come through the well. When Kagome first came through the well, she found Inuyasha pinned to the tree. Then a demon attacked them, and Kagome freed Inuyasha from the tree so he could kill the demon. Afterward, Kaede (Kikyo's younger sister) put rosary beads on Inuyasha's neck so he cannot take the jewel or get into mischief again. At Kagome's word of "SIT" Inuyasha is forcefully pulled and smashed into the ground. Along the adventure to collect the jewel shards, Inuyasha and Kagome become good friends, although Inuyasha has his heart set mostly on Kikyo. Inuyasha, being half human, changes into a full human at the new moon. He then has noticeable changes in look and his Tetsusaiga will not transform for him(info at bottom) *Age: 500+ years but looks about 17 *Hair: silver although it looks white and is black when in human form. *Eyes: gold and are brown when in human form. *Height: about 5'9" *Weight: 144lbs Inuyasha wields the Tetsusaiga. This sword keeps Inuyasha from changing into a full demon.
